Course Content
The programme begins with a comprehensive theoretical session covering:
- Esthetic parameters in anterior restorations
- Colour selection: translucency, opacity and value control
- Preparation techniques for anterior composite restorations
- Characteristics, properties, advantages and limitations of modern composite systems
- Polychromatic layering techniques for natural aesthetics
- Advanced strategies for optimising shape, contours and texture
- Achieving tight contact points, correct interproximal embrasures and an ideal emergence profile
Following the lecture and clinical case discussions, the course transitions into a hands-on session.
Participants will layer dentine, enamel and effect shades step by step on a highly aesthetic model. Special attention is given to the form, contours and surface texture of the restorations, with direct comparison of advanced techniques.
All techniques are demonstrated live by Dr Mahn allowing detailed explanation of every clinical step.
